Curved Stairway Connects Layered Landscape

This new construction project was designed to create a cohesive and functional landscape with multiple patio areas and seamless connectivity throughout the property. The clients requested a backyard with layered entertaining spaces and a front walkway that provides easy access to the home’s multiple entry points.

In the backyard, a series of multi-level patios are connected by a gracefully meandering staircase that leads to the lower level. The space is anchored by Belgard Belair Wall System walls, while the main patio surfaces feature Belgard Dimensions 12 in Pewter pavers accented with Belgard Moonlight Cobble in Midnight. Belgard Midnight Landing Steps provide smooth, stylish transitions between levels, enhancing both functionality and visual interest.

The front of the home is complemented by a clean, linear walkway using Belgard Melville Plank in Pewter, highlighted with a Belgard Brooklyn border in Midnight, which ties the entrance to the overall palette and ensures cohesive flow throughout the property.

On the side yard, a large retaining wall was required for the driveway, adding both structure and aesthetic appeal while maintaining a sense of openness across the site.

Overall, this project balances functional circulation, layered entertaining areas, and elegant materials to create a modern, versatile outdoor environment that complements the home’s architecture while enhancing its usability and curb appeal.
