Fire and Shade

This project began with an existing wood deck and concrete patio. Our customers wanted the new patio to include a gas fire pit, wood-burning pit, pergola, and outdoor lighting. The existing deck was removed by the homeowner and we then went to work.

We installed a beautiful linear gas fire feature with plenty of seating around. The space is covered by a Heartland Pergola with a ceiling fan. This structure gives them 90% shade and a great space to relax on those hot summer days. In this area, we also ran gas for their gas grill and constructed seat walls for additional seating. Opposite this space, there is a natural wood-burning fire pit constructed using the Tandem Wall units and a seat wall surrounding the space. The pavers we used in the project include Belgard Dimensions 12 for the main patio with a Bourbon Holland border. In the wood-burning fire pit space, we incorporated Lafitt 3-piece to give a project a bit of texture to compliment the texture of the walls, columns, and fire pits.

The Outdoor lighting, we used throughout the projects really adds a beautiful look and allows clients to use it well into the evening.
